We are excited to welcome back Bekah Preston-Dunn as head coach of HCC’s Cross Country team! Our Cross Country program is open to students in 2nd to 8th Grade. The season runs from September 6th to October 13th. 60 minute training sessions will be held on Monday and Wesdnesday afternoons from 3:50-4:50pm. Training sessions include stretching, running relays and other active games that teach students the importance of maintaining a smooth pace. This is a fun program with fitness and individual improvement encouraged. There will be a $30 participation fee, with a $10 discount for siblings. If you would like to sponsor an athlete by adding an extra $20 to your student’s registration please make a note on the registration form. Please look for the Cross Country table at back to school night to register your student for the Fall 2023 Cross Country season.
The Cross Country program’s success depends on parents and friends volunteering as coaches. No experience is necessary!

Dungeons & Dragons
HCC is happy to support a club for Dungeons and Dragons players. Dungeons and Dragons is a role-playing game that takes characters on quests which are exciting and competitive. Because of the type of competition, the game sometimes includes scenarios that may result in battle or wars as part of the game. This club is open to middle school students. Ms Watson will be the club advisor.
Students who are interested in joining the club will need to fill out a permission slip and return it to Ms. Watson. If there is to be a reschedule, this will be TBA as needed. Ms. Watson will try to give as much notice as possible in the case of any rescheduling.
Meeting dates to be posted once they are scheduled.
